NEDUMBASSERY, FEB. 1. A separate office for handling domestic cargo was inaugurated at the Cochin International Airport at Nedumbassery today. The airport director, A.C.K. Nair, inaugurated the office. The domestic airlines operating from the airport Indian Airlines, Jet Airways and Air Sahara have been allotted space at the newly opened office. Besides, a post office will also function at the cargo office. The office will not function at night, as there are no domestic flights in the night. The handling of incoming cargo started today while the departure cargo handling will start on Friday.
