A partly cloudy sky with minimum temperature hovering around 13 degree Celsius has been the forecast for Wednesday.

The city on Tuesday recorded a maximum temperature of 26.2 degree Celsius and a minimum temperature of 13.8 degree Celsius. The relative humidity stood at 56 per cent.

School's

distinction

A science project presented by the Atomic Energy Central School-2 at the Indian Science Congress at Ahmedabad recently has been selected for the Jawaharlal Nehru National Science Exhibition as well.

According to a communiqué from the school principal, M. Sitamahalakshmi, this was for the sixth consecutive year that an exhibit from the school was being selected for the Jawaharlal Nehru National Science Exhibition.

D. Madhavan and teacher-guide, N. Sajeev Raj, presented the project titled `Wave Power' during the Indian Science Congress from January 3 to 5.

The South Central Railway will operate a passenger reservation centre at Malakpet railway station from Wednesday for the benefit of the travelling public residing in and around Malakpet, according to an SCR release.

milk cards

The Andhra Pradesh Dairy Development Co-operative Federation Limited has informed Vijaya milk consumers who buy advance monthly milk cards from zonal offices of the Federation will be offered a discount of 30 paise per litre from February 1.

`Talent Khoj'

The last date for registration for `Talent Khoj' being organised by the Secunderabad Jaycees has been extended up to February 3.
