Counselling for teacher posts from February 17

HYDERABAD, FEB. 1. Counselling for filling 16,449 teacher posts for the candidates selected under DSC-2003 will be held from February 17 to 19 at the district level and on February 22 and 23 at the mandal level.

The posting orders will be handed over to the candidates on the spot during counselling itself.

The Government has issued two orders - the first giving approval for conducting a two-phase counselling and issuing posting orders and the second specifying guidelines for the exercise.

The first phase will be held at district headquarters on February 17, 18 and 19 for those marked for zilla and mandal parishad schools and the second phase at mandal headquarters for those deputed for mandal parishad schools on February 22 and 23. At district headquarters, counselling on February 17 will cover school assistants, language pandits, PTEs and that on February 18 and 19, secondary grade teachers, K. Ramakrishna Rao, Director, School Education, told The Hindu.
