A hard won battle

Sir, — While the move to open up non-technical `A' and `B' category posts in the civil service to the disabled is commendable, the executive cannot take credit for it. It is public knowledge that the judiciary has issued various directions to the UPSC and the Government. The latest move is the result of long-drawn battles by the disabled.
