VISAKHAPATNAM, FEB. 2. The Federation of Andhra Pradesh Industries (FAPI) has sought relief to rice mills affected by drought conditions in the State. Its president, B.V. Rama Rao, told reporters here on Wednesday that the mills were affected due to the drought situation in the last three years and scarce inflows into the Krishna and the Nagarjunasagar dam. Mr. Rama Rao said that FAPI would organise a meeting on the revival of sick units here on Friday, covering the three north coastal districts. General managers of the three district industries centres (DICs) and other officials concerned and bankers would attend the meeting.
