VHB group's package for tsunami victims

CHENNAI: VHB Group, a leading pharmaceutical company has pledged Rs. 75 lakhs worth of typhoid vaccines, apart from immunizing 50,000 tsunami-affected victims. Besides, 1500 employees of the VHB Group have donated a part of their salary for the tsunami victims. Anju S. Gupta, Managing Director, VHB Life Sciences, has stated that the group has responded positively through immunisations and donations on the earlier occasions such as the earthquake in Latur (Maharashtra) or the plague in Surat.
