TN beats Pondicherry

Tamil Nadu posted a comfortable 3-0 victory over Pondicherry in the 41st B.C. Roy Trophy South Zone under-19 football tournament at the Ajaya stadium, Avadi, near here on Wednesday. Jayaseelan (44th), Ramesh (51st) and Pavazavannan (70th) scored the goals.
Earlier, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala played out a 2-2 draw. Safeeq put Kerala ahead in the 10th minute, but Andhra Pradesh went ahead through Mallikarjun (70th) and Satish (78th). However, Kerala fought back and netted the equaliser through Sagar in the 79th minute.
Thursday is a rest day.
