KOZHIKODE, FEB. 2. The Chief Minister, Oommen Chandy, will present the awards instituted by the Kerala Press Academy for outstanding contribution to journalism at a function at Hotel Malabar Palace here on February 11. The function will be presided over by the Kerala Press Academy chairman, Thomas Jacob. The awards will be presented to N. Ramachandran, former associate editor, Kerala Kaumudi; K.C. John, former bureau chief, The Times of India, Thiruvananthapuram; V.M. Balachandran, sports journalist; T. Venugopal, former deputy editor, Mathrubhumi, and T. Narayanan, former chief photographer, Malayala Manorama.
