Chicago Public Radio broadcasts ACJ students' report

CHENNAI,
FEB. 2.
A story on relief efforts for the tsunami victims produced by students of the Asian College of Journalism here was broadcast by the Chicago Public Radio station WBEZ on its Worldview programme on Tuesday.
The radio report, aired over the National Public Radio network, was produced as part of an intensive two-week workshop in radio broadcasting conducted at the ACJ by Prof. Rob Quicke, director of Student Media, St. Xavier University, Chicago, in January 2005.
The students involved in the project were Shruti Pandalai, Sambuddha Dutt, Aruna Ramesh, Parul Bahuguna, Shivi Kumar and Charitra Parthasarathy.
