GUNTUR, FEB. 2. Understanding spectral theory in mathematics is crucial for the understanding of the operator theory, the Madurai Kamaraj University professor, V.J. Lal, told participants of a workshop organised by the TJPS College here. The Acharya Nagarjuna University in association with the TJPS College on Sunday organised a day's workshop on `Spectral Theory' and `Operator Theory' for teachers of affiliated colleges in the region so that they could teach these topics in a better way, according to a release.
