Proposals accepted

NEW DELHI, FEB. 2. The Government today accepted the recommendations of the 12th Finance Commission in toto as an "award." The States would now get a one per cent higher share at 30.5 per cent in Central taxes and duties and pay a lower interest of 7.5 per cent on all Central loans. — UNI
