BHADRAVATI, FEB. 3. Mysore Paper Mills Ltd. signed a wage agreement at the Labour Commissioner's office in Bangalore on Monday. Announcing this here, the president of the employees' association, Sadashivalinge Gowda, said the increase in wages will come into effect retrospectively from March 2002. About 2,667 employees will be benefited, he added. The Labour Commissioner, V.R. Patil; the Chairman and Managing Director of the mill, V.U. Krishna Rao; the local MLA, B.K. Sangameshwar; and office-bearers of the association were present, Mr. Gowda said.
