Shimoga
By Our Special Correspondent
SHIMOGA, FEB. 3. The president of the Shimoga district unit of the Karnataka State Government Employees' Association, N. Raghuram Devadiga, has appealed to the government employees to donate their one-day's salary to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund to help the people affected by the tsunami. In a press release, he said that though a majority of the government employees in the district have overwhelmingly responded to the appeal to donate one-day's salary to the fund, a few of them are believed to have written to the salary disbursal officers against the deduction. He has asked such employees to respond to the Government's appeal.
