TVS Group ropes in former Hyundai MD

CHENNAI,
FEB. 3.
Venu Srinivasan-led TVS Group has roped in Y.S. Kim, former Managing Director of Hyundai Motor India Ltd., as adviser to help its proposed two-wheeler venture in Indonesia.
Mr. Kim will work in close tandem with a project team that has already been formed to prepare the homework for its two-wheeler project in Indonesia.
According to H. Lakshmanan, Executive Director, Sundaram Clayton, Mr. Kim would advise until the project got off the ground. To a query, Mr. Lakshmanan said that the details of the proposed project in Indonesia — the nature of the venture and the like — were still being worked out.
