NEW DELHI, FEB. 3. Shikha Uberoi's dream of representing India has come true with the International Tennis Federation clearing her change of nationality. Shikha, who has been representing the U.S., her country of residence, was cleared to play for India in professional and organised team events at a meeting of the ITF Board of Directors on the sidelines of Australian Open in Melbourne last week. The ITF decision means that the Indians will have three players at the WTA Hyderabad Open next week. Shikha will join teen star Sania Mirza and Ankita Bhambri, all of whom have been given wildcards. The 22-year-old Shikha is ranked 148 on the WTA list 17 places below Sania and has won three ITF titles so far. The biggest impact of Shikha's arrival will be felt at the Fed Cup to be held here in April. PTI
