`Vivek a shining glory of Indian hockey'

NEW DELHI, FEB. 3. The Indian Hockey Federation (IHF) on Thursday expressed its grief over the death of Olympian Vivek Singh.

In their condolence message, the IHF President K. P. S. Gill and Honorary-Secretary K. Jothikumaran described Vivek Singh as "a shining glory of Indian hockey, having represented the country at the Olympics, Asia Cup, Asian Games, World Cup and Champions Trophy.

"May God give his soul eternal peace and strength to his bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss,'' they said.
