Faculty of Social Sciences wins
NEW DELHI,
FEB. 3.
Pramod Kumar Singh struck twice to steer Faculty of Social Sciences, Delhi, to 3-1 win against Ranchi College, Ranchi, in the inaugural match of the ONGC-Nehru Champion Colleges hockey tournament at the Shivaji Stadium here on Thursday.
Sunil Tikery had put Ranchi ahead in the 16th minute, but Pramod scored in the 51st and 67th minutes, both through penalty corners, before Bharat (69th) sealed the fate for the Delhi school.
