HYDERABAD, FEB. 3. The Andhra Pradesh Youth Congress (APYC) has accused the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president, N. Chandrababu Naidu, of chalking out a "hidden agenda to plunge the State into chaos" with a view to stalling development of the State. To divert the attention of the people, Mr. Naidu had launched a disinformation campaign against the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, APYC president, T. Venkat Rao, said here on Thursday. Mr. Rao asked Mr. Naidu to explain his "failure" to prevent the killing of more than 1,100 people in factional violence during his regime. The Youth Congress would come out with a book on the political life of Mr. Naidu titled -- Mr. Naidu, a political turncoat -- to counter the TDP's booklet titled -- If a factionist became Chief Minister. He said the real face of Mr. Naidu would be unmasked on February 14, with the release of the book.
