Mumbai Port in lead

MANGALORE, FEB. 3. Defending champion Mumbai Port Trust got off to a solid start in the XIV All-India Major Ports chess tournament, which got underway here on Thursday. Mumbai logged 10.5 points from three rounds while Jawaharlal Nehru PT (JNPT) got 10 points from four rounds. Vishakapatnam (7 pts) is on third place.

New Mangalore blanked JNPT 3-0 in the tennis event.
