BANGALORE, FEB. 3. Bharath Earth Movers Recreation Club (BEMRC) scored an impressive five-wicket victory over Secretariat Club in the KSCA second division (group II) league match here. Centuries by Girish (177) and Nandish (101) saw Secretariat post a good total of 348 for seven wickets in 50 overs. But BEMRC rode on Madhukumar's blasting 137. In other matches, IAF Training Command defeated KGS Club by 144 runs and the highlight of Airmen's win was an unbeaten 113 by Rana. Another century maker of the day was B.H. Jagannath, who hit 172 for EPFRC, which won on a better rate over NAL Staff SC in a rain hit tie.
Secretariat Club 348 for seven in 50 overs (Girish 177, Nandish 101) lost to BEMRC 349 for five in 41.1 overs (M.R. Madhukumar 137, L. Nagaraj 80, Srinivasa 45).
ISAC CC 105 (Srinivas four for 44) lost to BEL SC 110 for three.
BMP CC 212 (Mahadev 60) lost to RBI CC 213 for four (N. Selvaraj 45).
IAF Training Command 275 for four (Rana 113, B.B. Singh 58) bt KGS Club 131 (Tiwari four for 16).
EPF RC 327 for six (B.H. Jagannath 172, T.K. Ravindra 44) bt NAL Staff Club 144 for five - won on better run rate.
