Karnataka to fight it out with AP

BANGALORE, FEB. 3. AG Karnataka and AG Andhra Pradesh will fight it out for the South Zone Accounts and Audit volleyball championship title at the AG's Office Recreation Club courts here on Thursday.

AG Karnataka, with Damodar, Munikrishna and Bhat in its ranks, outplayed AG Kerala 25-15, 27-25, 25-13 in the semifinals.

AG Andhra prevailed over Tamil Nadu 25-21, 23-25,25-15, 25-15 in another semifinal.

Earlier, the championship was inaugurated by Mr. K.P. Lakshman Rao, Principal Accountant General, Karnataka.

The results (semifinals): AG Andhra Pradesh bt AG Tamil Nadu 25-21, 23-25, 25-15, 25-15; AG Karnataka bt AG Kerala 25-15,27-25,25-13.
