Good knock by Binny

CHENNAI, FEB. 3. Stuart Binny scored 138 after being dropped first ball as Karnataka declared at 352 for eight on the second day of the P. Ramachandra Rao Trophy under-22 South Zone match against Goa at the ICL ground on Thursday.

At close of play, Goa was on 88 for four in its second innings after being dismissed for 134 in the first on Wednesday.

Binny hit five sixes and 16 fours in his 108-ball knock, and added 163 for the fourth wicket with Deepak Chougule, who scored 49.

The scores:

Goa 134 & 88 for four (Anup Kolambkar 42 batting) v Karnataka 352 for eight decl. in 76.1 overs (Bharath Chipli 49, Deepak Chougule 49, Stuart Binny 138), at ICL grounds.

Hyderabad 342 in 140.2 overs (Ibrahim Khaleel 114, Abhinav Kumar 104) v Kerala 104 for five in 51 overs, at SRMC.

Tamil Nadu 409 for nine decl. in 96 overs (V. Subramaniasiva 81, E. Suresh, S. Desappan 40 not out, T. Koteshwara four for 81) v Andhra 226 for seven in 71.5 overs (Y. Gnaneswara Rao 84), at CPT-IP.
