PATHANAMTHITTA, FEB. 3. The director of the State Committee on Science, Technology and Environment, K.R.S. Krishnan, has called for effectively utilising modern technology as well as ancient wisdom for conservation of the environment and natural resources. Dr. Krishnan was delivering the valedictory address at a national seminar on conservation and management of natural resources at Catholicate College here this afternoon. He said that many ancient methods of environment conservation were much effective than the modern ones. The Metropolitan of the Thumpamon diocese of the Malankara Orthodox Church, Philipose Mar Eusebius, inaugurated the valedictory meet presided over by John Thomas. Prasad Thomas Kodiyat, Head of the Department of Zoology, spoke.
