India to buy Smerch rockets

MOSCOW, FEB. 3. India is set to buy dozens of Russia's most powerful multiple rocket launchers (MRLS), Russian defence export sources said.

In the next few months India and Russia are close to signing a $450-million deal for the supply of at least 36 Smerch MRLS complexes, the sources told the Vedomosti business daily.
