A bail application was moved by his counsel Rajarathinam.
The Principal Sessions Judge, G.M. Akbar Ali, posted the application for February 7.
The five fake accused, `dil' Pandian, Arumugam, Sathish, Arun and Devarajan, whose bail applications were earlier dismissed by the sessions court, have again moved the court for bail.
Another accused, Silver Star alias Stalin, has also moved the court for bail, according to the Chengalpattu public prosecutor, K. Arumugam.
The special investigation team arrested 25 persons, including the Kanchai Acharyas, Sri Jayendra Saraswathi and Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi, in the case. Only three, Sri Jayendra Saraswathi, Senthilkumar and Arumugam, were enlarged on bail.
The Supreme Court granted conditional bail to Sri Jayendra Saraswathi on January 10.
The District Sessions Court, which squashed the bail applications of Sri Vijayendra Saraswathi, his brother, Raghu, and the Mutt manager, Sundaresa Iyer, on January 27, ordered the release of Senthilkumar and Arumugam on January 28.
