Engineer in ACB net
HYDERABAD,
FEB. 3.
Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau on Thursday unearthed assets worth Rs. 17.35 lakhs belonging to S. Premananda Reddy, Additional Assistant Engineer of the Andhra Pradesh Central Power Distribution Company Limited.
Simultaneous searches conducted at his residence, a firm in which he is a partner and relatives' house here, revealed that the accused owned a flat, two plots, a car, 49 tolas of gold, a bank balance of Rs. 4.25 lakhs and bonds worth Rs. 40,000. The assets were either on his name or in those of his family members. He was arrested and will be produced before the Principal Special Judge for ACB cases, Hyderabad.
