NEDUMBASSERY, FEB. 3. An Emirates flight, EK 531, bound for Dubai, was today delayed by almost two hours after the flight had to be taken back to the parking bay of the Nedumbassery Airport just before take off, following a confusion regarding the number of passengers on board. The flight that had proceeded for take off at 10.50 a.m. returned to the bay after half-an-hour. The flight came back when the count of passengers taken by the cabin crew showed one less, 243 instead of the listed 244. Later, it was confirmed that the confusion was due to non-inclusion of a child in the count. The flight left for Dubai at 12.30 p.m.
