Search for two on bank cheating charge
HYDERABAD,
FEB. 4.
The police are on the lookout for M.A. Lateef and Rehman-Ur-Rehman, partners in a firm "Volga Aqua Industries" at Alwal, who cheated Central Bank of India to the tune of Rs. 14.83 lakhs. According to the police, the accused took a loan of Rs. 14.83 lakhs from the bank by providing a plot at Paramareddy Hills, Upparpally of Rangareddy district, as security. Rehman's sons, Irfan Rehman Lateef and Farhan-Ur-Rehman Lateef were guarantors for the loan. However, the guarantors sold the land immediately after the accused availed of the loan.
