Police to review Balakrishna case

HYDERABAD,
FEB. 4.
Failure of the prosecution in securing conviction to the accused in the shooting case involving film actor N. Balakrishna would be reviewed, the Hyderabad Police Commissioner, V. Dinesh Reddy, said here on Friday.
Reacting over acquittal of Balakrishna, he said the city police had already sent proposals to the Government to entrust further probe of the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the light of statements made by some witnesses.
"We will come to a decision after studying the judgment copy," he said.
