Woman found
killed
A widow, Anasuya (55) of Vijaypuri Colony in Saroornagar police station area, who was missing from February 1, was found murdered with her throat slit in a lodge at Yadagirigutta on Thursday evening. The police suspect that the woman might have been killed on February 1 night. Her body was found in the bathroom when lodge staff forcibly opened the room door.
Lorry knocks down boy
A boy, Md. Aftar (8), was killed when a lorry knocked him down while he was crossing the road near Thondupally village in Shamshabad police station limits on Thursday. He was returning home along with his elder brother, Aslam, when the mishap occurred.
Boy abducted?
A boy, Waheed (14), who was working in a motor workshop at Banjara Hills, was allegedly abducted by the shop owner, Muneer. According to the Banjara Hills police, the boy's father, Lateef of NTR Nagar in Kukatpally, lodged a complaint accusing Muneer of abducting his son.
