Nirula's now at IOC outlets

By Our Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI, FEB. 5. Now, more than just re-fuelling your car at petrol stations, you can also take a look at the menu from one of Delhi's favourite fast food restaurants, Nirula's. Entering into a strategic alliance, Nirula's and Indian Oil Corporation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for setting up a chain of fast food restaurants at IOC retail outlets across the nation in a phased manner.

As per the agreement, IOC will provide retail ready space at its outlets and Nirula's would operate the restaurants. Announcing the alliance, technical advisor, Nirula's, Vikas Attri said: "Under the agreement, Nirula's will set up Family Style restaurants and Express Stores with ice-cream parlours in IOC retail outlets across India in a phased manner. The first outlet proposed under this tie-up shall come up within the next two months at an IOC located in New Delhi''.

In the first phase, Nirula's has planned to open 5-10 outlets in the Capital region. It will then work towards setting up outlets on highways near Delhi, including NH-1, NH-2, NH-8 and NH-22. The third phase will cover the cities where Nirula's is already present or shall be present within the next six months.
