TUTICORIN, FEB. 6. Pasuvanthanani police have registered a case against one Duraipandi for allegedly attempting to rape a 27-year-old girl at Meenakshipuram near here on Saturday. Police said a search is on for the accused.
Cable wire stolen
The police are on the look out for the members of an unidentified gang, who stole 30.5-metre telephone cable wire at Seidhunganallur on Friday. An investigation was launched into the incident based on a complaint from Gopalakrishnan, Junior Engineer, BSNL.
