JAMMU, FEB. 6. Thirty-two people were killed and 29 injured in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir when a 90-seat passenger bus skidded and fell down a 300-ft gorge. The bus was on its way to Udhampur town from Ramnagar tehsil when it fell into the gorge at Bernai rivulet. The roads in the area are in a bad shape and were slippery due to continuous rain since last night. The police rescue operations were hindered by rain. The SSP Udhampur, Vijay Singh Sambiyal, told The Hindu that all the bodies had been recovered and the injured were moved to the local hospital. Two injured were shifted to the Government Medical College, Jammu.
