Garden City, Sekkilar's team share honours

MADURAI, FEB. 6. Garden City team, Bangalore (A.S. Viswanathan, Uttam Guptha, P.R. Sinha and Manojkumar) and Sekkilar's team, Coimbatore (S.M. Sekkilar, Dr. S.M. Sivakumar, Sreenivasan and S.M. Sampathkumar) tied for the top spot and were declared joint winners in the board-a-match event on the concluding day of the three-day 18th annual R. Ratnam and Dr. T. Subramanian Memorial TNBA State bridge championship, organised by the Madurai District Bridge Association, at PTR Hall here on Sunday.

The pairs event was won by A.S. Viswanathan and Uttam Guptha. M.S. Subadra Rao and N.N. Sahoo finished second and R.V. Subramanian and V. Krishnan finished third.
