ADILABAD, FEB. 6. Tagarapu Ramulu (55), an Armed Reserve Head Constable deployed as guard in charge at the Adilabad sub-jail, died in sleep early on Sunday due to suspected snake bite. According to the police, Ramulu being in charge of the guards at the sub-jail, slept on the premises itself. At 4 a.m. he went into the bushes to ease himself. On his return he complained of pain in his foot apparently due to a bite by some unknown creature. Soon after he went to sleep. When the change guard tried to wake him up at 6 a.m, he was found to be dead. The deceased was a resident of Tailors Colony, Adilabad.
