No-work-no-pay

Sir, — It is a good augury that whips cutting across party lines are all for the enforcement of the "no-work-no-pay" principle for MPs when Parliament is adjourned without transacting any business (Feb. 6). Another issue that needs attention is the virtual winding up of question hour on most of the days when the Opposition moves adjournment motions, immediately after the Presiding Officer takes his seat.
