Deplorable

Sir, — The undue haste shown by the Jammu & Kashmir police in implicating Anara Gupta, former beauty queen, in the pornographic video case and keeping her in illegal confinement for 10 days is unpardonable. Though five policemen have been suspended in connection with the case and Anara may win the case she has filed against the police, what about the harm done to her reputation?
