ISLAMABAD, FEB. 7. The Sri Lankan President, Chandrika Kumaratunga, is arriving here tonight on a three-day official visit to discuss bilateral relations and the international political situation with the Pakistani leadership. In the course of her stay here, she is scheduled to meet the President, Pervez Musharraf, and the Prime Minister, Shaukat Aziz. Besides, a slew of agreements are expected to be signed to coincide with the visit. The Foreign Office spokesman, Masood Khan, told journalists that at the meetings between Ms. Kumaratunga and her interlocutors in Pakistan, the two sides would review bilateral relations and would have broad exchange of views on regional and international issues, including matters relating to SAARC. Agreements on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters and a $10-million credit facility to Sri Lanka are also expected to be finalised and signed during the visit.
