PONDICHERRY, FEB. 7. The Pondicherry Local Administration and Civil Supplies Minister, A. Elumalai, laid the foundation on Sunday for the expansion of the Government High School at Koodapakkam village in Oussudu Assembly constituency. This includes new classrooms and amenities for the staff and students. Mr. Elumalai represents Oussudu in the Assembly. He told The Hindu that the educational requirements of the students in the rural areas were taken care of by the administration. Infrastructural development was being provided in collaboration with the Public Works Department, as integrated facilities on the school campus would ensure uninterrupted education for the children.
