PATHANAMTHITTA, FEB. 7. The ordination of Joseph Konnathu as Ramban will take place at St. Antony's Malankara Catholic Church in Vadasserikkara on Wednesday forenoon. He will be consecrated as bishop at the St. Mary's Cathedral at Pattom in Thiruvananthapuram on February 19. Addressing a press conference here today, the ordination committee leaders, Fr. Yohanna Mulamoottil, Fr. Thomas Kizhakkumkara and Fr. Christie Thevallil said that the Archbishop of Thiruvananthapuram, Cyril Mar Baselius, would be the chief celebrant at the ordination ceremony to be held at 8.30 a.m. Bishops Geevarghese Mar Themothios, Geevarghese Mar Divannasios, Thomas Mar Coorilos, Isaac Mar Cleemis, Yoohanon Mar Chrisostum and Joshua Mar Ignatius will be the co-celebrants. A reception to the new bishop would be organised at Vadasserikkara town on February 20 afternoon, Fr. Thevallil said.
