By Our Special Correspondent
HYDERABAD,
FEB. 7.
The Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, will be calling on the President, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, on February 11 to enquire about his health during his visit to New Delhi. He will leave on February 10 morning.
Dr. Reddy will also call on the AICC president, Sonia Gandhi, during his two-day visit to the Capital to explain his experiences of the recent China goodwill mission. He will also meet other Union Ministers -- Natwar Singh, Arjun Singh, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Shivraj Patil and Pranab Mukherji -- in this regard. The issues that are likely to come up are the peace negotiations with Maoists, clearances on International Airport, urban development and IIT at Basar.
During his meeting with Planning Commission officials, Dr. Reddy's priorities would be irrigation, agriculture and rural development and increased fund flow from the Centre.
