Man killed
The police said that 32-year-old Razvi, along with his four associates, were discussing some issue at MM Pahadi when the gang led by another rowdy-sheeter, Murtuza, armed with iron rods, swords and hockey sticks, allegedly charged towards Razvi and his men. They allegedly caught hold of Razvi, attacked him with the weapons and smashed his head with a boulder. He died instantly. Later, some of the accused reportedly turned up at the police station and are believed to have surrendered.

Two die in accidents
A salesman, V. Mahendar (22), died on the spot after the motorcycle he was driving was hit by an unknown vehicle near Ramanthapur polytechnic college on Sunday night. His friend, P. Srinivas who was seated behind, escaped with injuries.
