VISAKHAPATNAM, FEB. 7. Garbage dumped before two of the nursing homes allegedly to press for realisation of tax dues was removed on Sunday night, it has been learnt. According to the Indian Medical Association president, L.V. Raghava Rao, garbage dumps before other nursing homes and several establishments, which had complained were also removed. Following clearing of the garbage, the move to approach the Lok Adalat to seek a solution to the problem has been dropped, Dr. Raghava Rao said. However, the option of filing a public interest litigation was still being weighed, he added. According to the IMA, garbage was dumped in front of Central, Maitreyi, Rhea and Sagardurga nursing homes.
