VISAKHAPATNAM, FEB. 7. A 17-year-old girl, Mosu Mahalakshmi, died of burns she received when a thatched hut she was sleeping in caught fire in Chintalalova Colony on Monday morning, according to the Malkapuram Police. Mahalakshmi, daughter of Sanyasi Rao, who was suffering from fever, was sleeping in the hut when it caught fire. The hut had been erected by her father on the roof of his pucca house. Her parents and others were away when the incident occurred.
Succumbs to injuries
Sirasapalli Rambabu (45) who was seriously injured when he was hit by an auto near his village succumbed to injuries on Monday while undergoing treatment at the King George Hospital here, according to the Anakapalle rural police. Rambabu was riding a cycle hear his village on February 2, when the auto hit him. Two passengers of the auto were also injured in the accident. He was rushed to the NTR Hospital at Anakapalle and was shifted to KGH later.
Man drowned
Varadhi Appa Rao of Appannapalem village died when he fell into a ground-level well in the village on Sunday night, according to the Pendurthy Police.
