sky forecast

The city recorded a maximum temperature of 30.7 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 17 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity was 21 per cent.

At the airport, the maximum temperature was 29.6 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 15.6 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity was 18 per cent.

The forecast for Tuesday is: the sky will be mainly clear. The minimum temperature will be about 15 degrees Celsius.

`Sarige Adalat'

The Regional Transport Officer has said that "Sarige Adalat" will be held at 3 p.m. on Febraury 10 in the third floor of the Jayanagar Shopping Complex, 4th Block Jayanagar by the Regional Transport Office, Bangalore South, Jayanagar.

Senior officers of the Transport Department will participate in the adalat.

The public may get their grievances redressed at the adalat.

BDA drive

The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) is continuing its drive against unauthorised building activities on its sites and open spaces. It cleared 14 asbestos sheet sheds in HSR Layout, 40 sheds in Rupena Agrahara and 29 sheds and two tiled houses in Sajjepalya layout. As many as 93 illegal construction activities have been stalled, according to a press release.

Course

The Sign Language Department, Dr. C.R. Chandrashekhar Institute of Speech and Hearing, Hennur Main Road, Lingarajapuram, will conduct Level 1 and Level A Basic Indian Sign Language courses from February 12 for three months. Narayana Nethralaya in association with Rotary Bangalore West and Temple Trust will organise a free eye screening and surgery camp on February 11 on the premises of Sri Prasanna Veeranjaneya Swamy Temple, Mahalakshmi Layout.

Ayurvedic camp

The Sri Krishnaraja Wodeyar Ayurvedic Hospital is organising a free Ayurvedic consultation camp for piles, fistula, lumbar and cervical spondylosis. The camp will go on till February 12.
