Trust shelters children

MUMBAI,
FEB. 8.
A private charitable trust having a service complex in Pune district, has decided to accommodate 50 children orphaned by the recent tsunami catastrophe.
The Radha Kaliandas Daryanani Charitable Trust said in a press note that it would also like to make its facilities available to any government or non-government organisation engaged in rehabilitation of the Tsunami orphans.
The trust has constructed 46 buildings on a 15-acre campus called Sai Baba Seva Dham at Village Kanhe in Pune district. A number of service organisations engaged in healthcare, education, rehabilitation of children needing special care, are carrying out their activities from these buildings, paying a token rent of Re. 1 , the press note said.
Such participating institutions are providing free lodging and boarding to the children and the rural poor needing rehabilitation.
