Dry weather likely in Tamil Nadu

CHENNAI, FEB. 8. Dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

The minimum temperature fell appreciably at one or two places over south interior Karnataka, Telangana, Kerala, fell at one or two places over rest Telangana, north interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, rose at one or two places over rest Tamil Nadu and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were appreciably below normal at one or two places over Tamil Nadu, below normal at one or two places over south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, south interior Karnataka, rest Tamil Nadu, above normal at one or two places over Telangana, Tamil Nadu and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

Arogyavaram recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 14 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.

FORECAST (valid until Thursday morning): Mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Farmers Weather Bulletin for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry (Forecast valid until the morning of 10th February 2005): Mainly sunny weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.

Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change.
