DAVANGERE, FEB. 8. The Bharatiya Janata Party activists, led by S.A. Ravindranath, Mayakonda MLA, took out a procession here on Tuesday protesting against the dismissal of the Parrikar Government in Goa recently. The agitators raised slogans against the Governor of Goa. They took out a protest march from the BJP office to the office of the Deputy Commissioner. They criticised the Governor of Goa for dismissing the Government in an "unparliamentary manner." Describing the move as "anti-democratic," the agitators demanded action to be initiated against the Governor. Mr. Ravindranath later addressed the party workers.
