East piles up a huge total
HYDERABAD,
FEB. 8.
Subojit Paul scored 161, which included 20 boundaries, to help East Zone pile up 446 all out at close on day two against West Zone in the all India Vizzy Trophy inter-university cricket tournament here on Tuesday.
In the other match South Zone was on the verge of grabbing the first innings lead when play ended with North Zone at 165 for nine in reply to South Zone's 292.
The scores: At Uppal stadium: South Zone 292 (Krishna Chandra 112, Y.H.S. Girish 60, G.K. Anil Kumar 50) vs North Zone 165 for nine.
At Gymkhana grounds: East Zone 446 (Subojit Paul 161, Avik Choudhary 50, Soyen Dey 67 not out) vs West Zone.
