Salgaocar in drawn encounter

MARGAO, FEB. 8. Churchill Brothers squandered a few winning opportunities and had to be content with a 1-1 draw against Salgaocar Sports Club in the IX National Football league match at the Nehru Stadium, here on Tuesday.

Churchill Brothers' goal came from Marcos Pereira in the fifth minute. Salgaocar equalised in the 57th minute through Felix Ibrebru.

Churchill Brothers registered two points from the match and Salgaocar made its tally seven points from six matches. — UNI
